Our Beautiful & Respectful Scattering of Ashes at Sea Services
Our Burial at Sea service comes with a service or ceremony to honor and remember your departed loved ones. The highlight of the service is the scattering of ashes at sea.
The usual service starts with family and guests boarding Paradiso’s charter at our dock in Newport Harbor and will cruise out of the harbor to a serene location in the ocean, approximately one mile off the shore. Once the yacht is on sail, the Captain will start the ceremony with a brief reading. The family and guests are welcomed and are encouraged to say their messages to honor and remember their loved one. On location, the ashes will be scattered into the ocean according to the traditions of the sea. Family and guests will offer their flowers on the water. After the ceremony, we will return to the harbor. The family will receive a certificate as a remembrance of the ceremony, containing the exact longitude and latitude of where your loved one was scattered.
A rose for each guest, coffee and soft drinks are included. The service lasts approximately two hours and the option to extend is available. Other needs
and requests of the family are also welcome.
